Based on the best-selling book series by Bernard Waber, Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile, starring Academy Award®-winner Javier Bardem (2007, Best Supporting Actor, No Country For Old Men), Constance Wu and Shawn Mendes as Lyle, is a live-action/CGI musical comedy that brings this beloved character to a new, global audience.
When the Primm family (Wu, Scoot McNairy, Winslow Fegley) moves to New York City, their young son Josh struggles to adapt to his new school and new friends. All of that changes when he discovers Lyle - a singing crocodile (Mendes) who loves baths, caviar and great music-living in the attic of his new home. The two become fast friends, but when Lyle’s existence is threatened by evil neighbor Mr. Grumps (Brett Gelman), the Primms must band together with Lyle’s charismatic owner, Hector P. Valenti (Bardem), to show the world that family can come from the most unexpected places and there’s nothing wrong with a big singing crocodile with an even bigger personality.
Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile will feature original songs performed by Shawn Mendes, Javier Bardem, and Constance Wu, written by the songwriting team behind The Greatest Showman, Benj Pasek & Justin Paul. Joining Pasek and Paul in writing original songs for the film are Mendes, Ari Afsar, Emily Gardner Xu Hall, Mark Sonnenblick, and Joriah Kwamé. Directed and produced by Will Speck and Josh Gordon, the screenplay is by Will Davies. The film is produced by Hutch Parker and executive produced by Kevin K. Vafi, Dan Wilson, Robert J. Dohrmann, Benj Pasek, Justin Paul, Tarak Ben Ammar and Andy Mitchell. The Sony Pictures film will release in the US on October 7, 2022.
I play goofy cheesemonger Drew in Season 4 of Cobra Kai, now streaming on Netflix!
I play a bad guy (or is he just misunderstood?🤔) alongside Jordan Calloway in “Painkiller,” the backdoor pilot for Black Lightning spinoff.

From WTVM:
“Electric Jesus” is set to begin filming in Columbus on Tuesday, Aug. 20. When they do, the feature film will include Judd Nelson, famous for his role as John Bender in “The Breakfast Club” and Brian Baumgartner, who played Kevin Malone in the hit TV series “The Office.”
Nelson is set to play a pastor in the film, while Baumgartner is gearing up for a summer with the band as the group’s road manager.
Will Oliver, a Columbus native, has also been cast in the movie as Jaime, who is described in a press release as the “lead guitarist for a small town Christian heavy metal band: confident, easy-going and more into Jimi than Jesus.”
Chris White, the producer, writer and director of the film, describes it as a coming-of-age rock and roll comedy. The film’s tagline calls itself “The ’80s hair band music comedy you’ve been saving yourself for.”
I have fun as a photographer in this Netflix show.
From Deadline:

Knowing that he lacks the expertise to patch up the injured trespasser, the doctor must protect his family at all costs.
Cameras will roll on June 3 in Columbus, Georgia in concert with the Columbus Film Fund. Emmett and Furla will produce with Tim Sullivan, Alex Eckert, and Ted Fox serving as executive producers. The Long Night will be selling at Cannes via Highland Film Group.
From the Ledger-Enquirer:
Columbus has continued to grow its profile in the Georgia film industry. In the last few years, we have welcomed the Georgia Film Academy, the Springer Film Institute, and the Way Down Film Festival. We have trained countless film technicians and actors, many of which are able to work right here in town on Netflix series, major feature films, and more. It’s evident that Columbus is a city that Hollywood ought to take note of.
Our new webseries is simply the natural progression of all of this. What sets it apart is that it is truly local and organic to our community, without any of the negative-implications of a “community” arts project. Our city has always produced renowned artists, but too often in our history we lose those people to bigger markets. With the rise of film work in Georgia, that is no longer an imperative for Columbus-area artists. I hope you’ll follow what we’re up to as we gear up to shoot this series in January 2019. Follow us on Facebook (/groundsseries) or on the web at www.springerfilm.org/grounds.
